New Operating Hours for South Canyon Landfill Starting Nov. 15

The City of Glenwood Springs is revising the operating hours for the South Canyon Landfill, located at 1205 County Road 134.

Beginning Nov. 15, the landfill will be open Monday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed Sundays). The Recycling Center at the South Canyon Landfill will be open Tuesday through...

Vogelaar Park Land Exchange and Redesign

As part of the renovation of Glenwood Springs Elementary and the continuing efforts to institute changes proposed in the Confluence Plan, Vogelaar Park will be reconfigured.

Glenwood Springs Leaf Collection Site Now Open

Fallen Leaves

Now through December 31, residents of Glenwood Springs can drop off their fallen leaves at the old rodeo grounds, adjacent to the airport.

The service is free but is only open to residents of Glenwood Springs. The collection site is not available for use by commercial operators. Leaves can be dropped off at any time of day.

New Operating Hours for City Hall

The City of Glenwood Springs is revising the operating hours for City Hall, located at 101 West 8th Street. Glenwood Springs City Hall will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and will be closed on Fridays, starting September 18.

Operating hours are expected to return to normal after the completion of the Grand Avenue Bridge project.

No Boat Trailer Parking at Two Rivers During GAB Detour

Boat trailer parking will not be allowed at Two Rivers Park during the Grand Avenue Bridge (GAB) Detour, starting August 14.
