Geographic Information System (GIS)

The Geographic Information System (GIS) division is responsible for creating, managing, analyzing and mapping the base data for the city.  GIS enables the connection between location data (X,Y) and the information about that location (what is the street name).  The GIS data and associated maps are used daily with collection and business decisions for many of the city departments including electric, water, wastewater, parks, streets, engineering and community development.  These maps are shared using online interactive maps as well as static Adobe PDF maps that are printable.  Please email or call us with any questions or requests.
