The City of Glenwood Springs invites community members to provide input on the future art piece at the North Landing Site during an upcoming public meeting on April 30. The public art piece will be located on a future plaza area west of the touchdown site of the new pedestrian bridge, known as the North Landing.
The meeting will be held at the Glenwood Springs Community Center from 6 to 7 p.m. Installation of the sculpture will be at the previous landing site of the old Grand Avenue Bridge on 6th Street.
Madeline Wiener is the artist chosen to create the sculpture. She lives in Colorado but has experience with creating public art throughout the United States.

This public art project is made possible by a $20,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) awarded to the City in 2018.
