The City of Glenwood Springs hosted an online neighborhood meeting on Thursday, January 28th at 6:30 pm to discuss a potential piece of the South Bridge Project.
The South Bridge Environmental Assessment has evaluated the potential for increased noise to the Cardiff Glen neighborhood; specifically, to the residents (tenants and owners) immediately adjacent to the roadway and expanded sidewalk/trail. The study concluded that a noise wall is warranted if the residents immediately adjacent to the road want it.
The meeting discussed the wall location, height, and options for wall aesthetics. All residents of the community are encouraged to voice their opinion. However, the residents who are immediately adjacent to the road and the proposed wall will have the final say on whether the wall is included or not.
If you weren't able to attend the meeting and would like to send your opinion directly to us, please send an email with your name, address and opinion to terri.partch@cogs.us..
