The City of Glenwood Springs is looking for volunteers who have a few hours to give to a city Board or Commission each month.
The powers and duties for each of the Boards and Commissions are included on the applications, which can be found at the links below or obtained from the City Clerk’s office at City Hall, 101 W. 8th Street, Suite 325.
Applications are to be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office by e-mail to catherine.mythen@cogs.us; or mailed to 101 W 8th Street, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Applications are due by October 24, 2016.
The City is looking for applicants to fill vacancies on the following Boards and Commissions:
Parks and Recreation Commission – two regular seats and one alternate seat with a term to expire February, 2017 Building Boards of Appeals - one alternate seat with a term to expire February, 2018 Financial Advisory Board - one regular seat with a term to expire February, 2018 Tourism and Promotion Board – one regular seat representing lodging with a term to expire February, 2019 Planning and Zoning Commission - one alternate seat with a term to expire February, 2018 Transportation Commission - one alternate seat with a term to expire February, 2018 Victim’s and Witnesses Assistance and Law Enforcement Board (VALE) – one alternate seat with terms to expire February, 2018
