The community is invited to provide public input on the future of vacation rentals in Glenwood Springs.
The City of Glenwood Springs Community Development Department is seeking public input regarding vacation rentals on January 16, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Community Center.
In October, City Council enacted a moratorium on new vacation rental permits within city limits to allow time for public input on the topic. Since then, City staff has asked the community to respond to a survey to collect community feedback on the topic.
On January 16, staff will present the survey results and host a facilitated discussion on vacation rentals in Glenwood Springs. Survey results will be presented from 6-6:30 p.m. Meeting participants will have an opportunity to provide input regarding vacation rental requirements from 6:30-8 p.m.
Input taken during this meeting will help inform potential changes to the vacation rental regulation in Title 070 of the Municipal Code of Ordinances. Any changes to Title 070 requires a public hearing before both the Planning Commission and City Council.
