Street maintenance scheduled for this summer continues with several residential streets getting chip seal work Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26.
Chip seal work will begin on Monday, July 22 and last through the week on the following streets:
- Blake Avenue from 7th to 13th Streets
- Bennett Avenue from 7th to 13th Streets
- Bennett Avenue from 21st to 23rd Streets
- Palmer Avenue from 7th to 12th Streets
- Pitkin Avenue from 8th to 14th Streets
The above streets will remain open during this work; however, parking will be impacted. The Streets Department asks residents to abide by traffic control and no parking requests while work is being done in those areas.
Additionally, 27th Street east of the 27th Street Bridge to CO-82 will be milled and overlaid on Thursday, July 25 from 7AM-7PM. The road will remain open for this work and will occur prior to the bridge closure at 7PM on Thursday for the 27th Street Bridge construction project.
Street maintenance projects have been occurring across the city and will continue through the remainder of summer. The City thanks residents and visitors for their understanding and patience during this work to fix potholes and cracks in our roadways.
