Please follow the link to read the full CDOT update regarding the Grand Avenue Bridge. From 7th St., pedestrians should cross at Cooper Street and use the current pedestrian bridge stair. This alignment will be in place through the end of the month.
Traffic Impacts
State Highway 82 Grand Avenue Bridge
Through the end of the month, the Grand Avenue Bridge from 6th St. to 8th St. will have periodic variable lane closures in each direction from 9:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m. The contractor is working to install the temporary walkway along the east side existing traffic bridge.
7th St. closure from Colorado Avenue to Cooper Street and Wing Street The north lane and south lane will be closed all day and all night. The contractor is using heavy equipment in the area. The pedestrian sidewalk on the south side of the street is open along with the north side between Cooper and the Pedestrian Bridge.
Wing Street Closed to vehicular traffic.
River StreetRestricted vehicular access. Traffic control in the area.

Interstate 70 Eastbound Exit 116 Eastbound at exit 116 will be reduced to one lane of traffic. This will be the condition for throughout Phase II. Speed limit reduced to 40 mph in this area.
Parking ImpactsParking along the north lane of 7th St. from Colorado Avenue to Cooper Avenue will be closed throughout Phase I and Phase II of the project.
Glenwood Hot Springs west pool parking lot closed. Parking is available at the old Bighorn Toyota Lot A with shuttle service to the Glenwood Hot Springs.
