The Glenwood Springs City Council will meet Thursday, January 6 in a virtual meeting. All City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission Meetings can be watched live on the City’s YouTube page and via Zoom. City Council regular meetings can also be watched on public access channel 10. To participate in public comment, individuals should login to the meeting via zoom or call-in to the zoom meeting conference call (see login information below). Please note that there are separate login details for the morning and afternoon sessions.
Agenda, minutes and login details for meetings are posted on the main City Hall entrance doors and can be found online at https://www.cogs.us/129/Agendas-Minutes.
All City public meetings with more than 10 people will be held via virtual conference only for the month of January. This includes City Council and all City board and commission meetings. The public can find conference call information on the agendas for each meeting, which are posted at City Hall and online at www.cogs.us.
City Council Work Session Time Change Reminder
In December, City Council decided that for the first meeting of each month, City Council work sessions will start at 8:30 a.m. The morning session is anticipated to end at approximately 10:30 a.m. and then will resume in the afternoon at 4:45 p.m. City Council will take a break at the end of the evening work session and then the regular council meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. This schedule change will be in effect with the January 6 meeting.
The second City Council meeting of the month remains as is. City Council meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month. Work sessions are open to the public though no action by City Council is taken during work sessions.

To participate in the public comment portion of the evening live meeting, community members will need to join the Zoom meeting either through https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81103450849 or by dialing 1-669-900-6833, then enter Webinar ID 811 0345 0849.
To raise your hand if you dialed in, press *9. To unmute, you may need to dial *6.
To raise your hand to participate online during public comment:
- Click Raise Hand in the Webinar Controls.
- The host will be notified that you’ve raised your hand.
- One by one, the host will call on individuals who have raised their hand. This person’s microphone will be opened for speaking. You may be asked to unmute yourself.
- Public comments are limited to three minutes per speaker.
- At the end of your comments, click Lower Hand to lower it if needed.
City Hall Closure Reminder
In response to the current surge in COVID-19 cases, Glenwood Springs City Hall walk-in services will temporarily close to the public beginning Thursday, January 6. All City services will continue, although some will be conducted only through virtual and drop-off services. These protocols will be in place through January; however, we are carefully monitoring the COVID Omicron outbreak in consultation with local health officials and will adjust as necessary.
